DANCE

Dancing is one of the artistic expressions that we sponsor at Kaisen, and we will have the participation of Jeniffer Yahvit and her bellydance troupe for the enjoyment of all.

 

CARD GAMES

If you like card games you have the chance to enter tournaments in Kaisen ! We will have competions for Magic: The Gathering and Yugi-Oh.  Plus, we will also have clinics so that you can learn to play other games. such as  Dragonball , Pokémon, Dungeons & Dragons, Axis and Allies, Kingdom Hearts and Bleach.

SKITS

Skits are short plays, dance numbers, songs and other artistic expressions performed while in costume and done by cosplayers that  are inspired in their favorite shows.

WORKSHOPS

Learning can be fun too and at Kaisen we will have workshops too.  Past workshops have included japanese phrases, drawing, construction of costumes and more.  Keep watching this space for the list of workshops at Kaisen 6.

 
FANFIC CONTEST

If you like to write here is your chance to show of your talent  For the first time in Puerto Rico we will have a fanfics contest and the award ceremony will be at Kaisen.  Here are the rules:

1. Lenght and format - 5 to 20 pages (not including the presentation page), single space, font Times New Roman 12  Story can be in .doc, .txt, .pdf or .rtf document formats
2. The main characters of the story must be recognizable characters from comics, anime, tv series, movies and videogames.
3. Crossovers between series is allowed.
4. "Out Of Character characters" are allowed.
5. The theme is open.
6. Scenes that feature sex and/or violence should be on the level of a PG-13 movie:
"Films given this rating may contain sexual content, brief or partial nudity, some strong language and innuendo, humor, mature themes, political themes, terror and/or intense action violence. However, bloodshed is rarely present."
7. Scenes that feature yuri or yaoi are allowed as long as they comply with Rule 6.
8. The stories can be either in english or spanish.
9. The stories cannot be already published on any website.
10. Each story should have a presentation page that will include the following information:
- Name of the participant
- Títle of the fanfic
- Anime/comic/movie/videogame on which the story is based
- A one line synopsis of the story.
11. Evaluation criteria
- Quality - 20 pts.
- Grammar/Spelling - 10 p
- Plot - 10 p
12. Only 1 story per participant.
13. Original characters can be used only as secondary characters in the story.
14. Each story must have a beginning, middle and an end, not a part of a multi-series.
15. Entrys must be in short story format, nopt as comic book or movie scripts.
16. The "deadline" is Friday December 4 at 11:00AM.
17. Prizes will be awarded at Kaisen on December 13, 2009 at the Ruben Rodriguez Coliseum
