The first Kaisen was celebrated on July 8, 2007 at the Cupey Shopping Mall with a participation of 600 fans.  Our most recent event, Kaisen 5 was our biggest yet on the Ruben Rodriguez Coliseum at Bayamon with over 2503 fans.
 

Kaisen is the only event of its type organized by a non profit organization in Puerto Rico. Created by fans, organized by fans and priced for fans.Kaisen is celebrated twice a year, in March and November.

The Paquines/Kaisen message board has over 1,700 members and the Paquines Facebook group has over 1,600 fans.
 

The Kaisen Cosplay Contest is the largest of its type in Puerto Rico with 18 prizes in 6 categories.

The proceeds from Kaisen help fund the activities of the Paquines group all year in support of The comics, animation and science fiction fandom such as the Puerto Rico Comic Encounter, the 24 Hour Comics Day and others
