TIME & PLACE

Kaisen will be celebrated on Sunday, December 13, 2009 in the Ruben Rodriguez Coliseum, Bayamon, Puerto Rico.

MAP & PARKING

Click over the map to make it bigger.   The Rubén Rodríguez Coliseum is part of Onofre Carballeira Sports Complex.

The  Rubén Rodríguez Coliseum has a parking lot with space for 3,200 cars. Parking fee is $1.00 for all day use.

TRAIN - If you want to reach the Coliseum by train (Tren Urbano) is very easy.  All you have to do is reach your nearest train station and take the train for the Bayamon route.  You will take off the train in the station called DEPORTIVO which is very close to the Coliseum.

After you leave the Deportivo station you will walk to the right until you reach the Coliseum's main entrance.

BUS - Routes B-52 y M-II of the Autoridad Metropolitana de Autobuses pass right before the Coliseum, so it is a cheap alternative if you want to go to Kaisen by bus.

Be safe and enjoy Kaisen !

WHAT YOU CAN BUY

At Kaisen you will get the chance to buy lots of cool stuff such as comics from Puerto Rico, toys, DVDs, plushies, tshirts and others. Support our local vendors with your purchases, they are an important part of Kaisen.

If you wish to be a part of Kaisen as a vendor or a sponsor, check out the Vendors area for more information.

CLUBS

We are very proud of the fact that more fanclubs participate in Kaisen than in any other convention in Puerto Rico.  They represent such interests as comics, science fiction, model building, toys, cosplay and others.  To learn how your club can participate in Kaisen send us an email to: kaisenconvention@gmail.com

FOOD

There is a cafeteria in the Coliseum where you can buy food and beverages so you can stay alive while you are in Kaisen !  We will also be selling japanese candy like the famous Pocky.

ATM MACHINE

Most of the Kaisen vendors only accept cash.  There is an ATM machine  at the entrance of the Juan Ramon Loubriel Stadium which is beside the Ruben Rodriguez Coliseum. Steps away from the Coliseum is the Santa Rosa Mall which has several banks with ATM Machines in its first floor.

VOLUNTEERS

Kaisen is a very complex event and like other conventions we will need volunteers to help.  We only ask for 3 hours of your time! Tasks are judging at the cosplay contest, move tables and equipment, help at the information desk and others. In exchange for that you can enter Kaisen for free and we will give you a lunch.

To be a Kaisen volunteer you can write to:
